For more than 50 years, families throughout Douglas and Coffee County have trusted Moorman, Lindsey & Crawford Dental with their smiles. What began as one dentist's commitment to his community in 1971 has grown into a practice built on open communication, personal relationships, and quality care at a price families can count on.

Our Story

Rooted in Douglas Since 1971

Dr. Guy W. Moorman, Jr. opened the doors of this practice more than five decades ago with a straightforward philosophy: provide top quality dental care for a reasonable price, and treat every patient like family. A lifelong Douglas native, Dr. Moorman built his career right here in Coffee County after completing his dental education at Emory University and serving in the U.S. Army Dental Corps.

That same philosophy guides the practice today under Dr. Griff Lindsey and Dr. Lance Crawford, both of whom grew up in Douglas and chose to return home after dental school. They carry forward Dr. Moorman's belief that open communication is essential to a successful dental experience, and that patients deserve to understand every step of their care.

Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Griff M. Lindsey, DMD

General Dentist

Born and raised right here in Douglas, Dr. Lindsey has deep roots in Coffee County. After earning his biology degree from UGA and completing dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, he returned home to care for the community that raised him. In 2011, he completed an intensive 360-hour course in implant dentistry, earning his Associate Fellowship in the American Academy of Implantology.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Lindsey and his wife Allison are the proud parents of five children: Jacob, Emily, Brent, Brady, and Noah. The family is active at St. Mark Community Church. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Lindsey has devoted 11 years to dental mission work in El Salvador. He also serves as the falconry director for the Georgia Falconry Association. In his free time, you might find him camping, hiking through south Georgia trails, or out hunting with his family.

Dr. G. Lance Crawford, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Crawford was born in Waycross, GA and grew up in Douglas. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Biology and went on to earn his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia. After spending three years at Tift Regional Dental Group in Tifton, Dr. Crawford joined the practice in 2010, bringing both skill and a familiar face back to his hometown.

Beyond the Office

Dr. Crawford and his wife April are blessed with four children: Ensley, Caroline, Cohen, and Lundie. The family attends Douglas First Baptist Church. When he isn't in the office, Dr. Crawford enjoys getting out on the golf course, cheering on his favorite teams, traveling with his family, and spending time fishing and hunting across south Georgia.

Dr. Guy W. Moorman, Jr., DMD

A lifelong resident of Douglas and Coffee County, Dr. Moorman graduated from Coffee County High School in 1962, then went on to complete three years of pre-dental studies followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Emory University. He served two years of active duty with the U.S. Army Dental Corps before establishing the practice in 1971.

Over his career spanning more than four decades, Dr. Moorman became widely respected both locally and nationally, serving as a teaching instructor for root canal procedures across the country. He retired from active practice in 2015, though his legacy continues to shape every aspect of the care provided at Moorman, Lindsey & Crawford Dental.
